YES NO SOLUTIONS is an initiative created by a team of NGOs, Volunteers and Corporates with the common objective of eliminating plastic pollution, educating the population and encouraging corporates for an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
Extended Producer Responsibility is a concept where manufacturers and importers of products should bear a significant degree of responsibility for the environmental impacts of their products throughout the product life cycle.
We strongly believe in being sustainable as sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept of sustainability is composed of three pillars: economic, environmental, and social—also known informally as profits, planet, and people.
In that vein, in 2020, Mission Verte, We-Recycle, etc., came up with the YES NO SOLUTIONS Initiative to assemble NGOs, citizens and local businesses in the private sector to work together on the plastic waste pollution as one team.
Through the collaboration of all stakeholders, we aim at overcoming the hurdles of plastic waste pollution by adopting new environmentally friendly lifestyles, economic and industrial solutions for the future generations of Mauritius.
The sixth Global Environment Outlook, or GEO-6, is the most detailed environmental report ever published by the United Nations Environment Programme, addressing a wide variety of subjects, challenges, and possible solutions with regards to our planet and environment.

People, institutions, and corporates, all play a unique role in the environmental sustainability towards a plastic circular economy.
Our vision is to make Mauritius the best sustainable circular economy in Africa.
We aim at zero waste, as we believe Plastic is NOT Trash. We strongly adhere to the principal of
We are committed to educate on reduce, recycle and reuse the plastic waste we generate, and we would like to encourage people to share and develop this initiative whether on an individual basis or on an industrial approach.
